Thistledome Inn is a romantic place and is available for weddings as well as receptions. During the spring, summer and early fall months, Thistledome's gardens would make a lovely setting for your wedding ceremony. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll gladly move your smaller ceremony into the home. Arrangements for tents will need to be made in advance for large ceremonies. During the winter you might wish to be married in front of one of our many fireplaces or amidst the gardens in a heated tent.
Thistledome
Inn allows you to bring your own caterer and others. We also allow
alcohol.
We will be happy to give you the names of ministers or officials who can
perform your wedding ceremony. We can also recommend excellent florists, superb musicians, professional wedding photographers and others to help you have the perfect wedding. Please call for more information.
The wedding package includes a Wedding Director who will meet with you three times, once to plan your wedding, next to direct your rehearsal and finally to direct your wedding.
At
no extra charge to you we also have tables, an antique kneeling bench
for wedding ceremonies, decorative pedestals to display plants or
flowers, free use of our antique square grand piano, outdoor hurricane
candles for night time weddings, crystal candle holders for tables,
matching bride and flower girl parasols, chairs for your musicians and
changing rooms for musicians and other vendors. Thistledome
Inn also offers a complimentary Bed & Breakfast Honeymoon suite for
the night of the wedding/reception.
We have tables, silver serving dishes, candles holders and much more all at no extra charge.
